Giving
Each one of you should give just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, because God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7
Do you know the joy of giving; the joy of helping others? We are designed with that love to give. It's by God's common grace that it just feels good to help others. We're made in the image of God and He loves to give. He is generous and joyful. We should be, too. That's why if you have any hesitation about giving financially right now, please DON'T! Instead, pray about how you can work with God to show His love and compassion to those you are around day in and day out. Help your neighbor with a project. Donate to our local food bank. Take a meal to someone who is hungry. Bring your co-worker their favorite morning coffee drink. Experience the joy that our awesome God gives when we give with a cheerful heart.
